In this hybrid leadership role, you will bridge the gap between high-level engineering strategy and customer-facing business development, acting as a key sparring partner to the Founder and executive management. 🎯 Key Responsibilities - Strategic Vision & Leadership: Position the company as a European leader in data-driven business models. Define and drive the overall technology vision and roadmap, translating emerging technologies into customer-centric products. - C-Level Sales & Business Development: Lead C-level sales conversations, articulate technical value and business impact, and discover new client use cases to convert them into viable products and revenue models. - Roadmap Ownership: Own, prioritize, and communicate the technology roadmap based on data-driven insights, ensuring engineering and product focus on high-impact initiatives. - Executive Sparring: Act as a strategic sparring partner to the Founder and management, helping shape the company’s broader strategic direction. - Impact Tracking: Establish clear success metrics, track outcomes, and iterate accordingly to drive continuous growth and innovation. ✅ Ideal Candidate Profile Must-Haves - Experience: 5+ years of senior technical leadership experience (e.g., CTO, VP of Engineering) within the FinTech or banking sector, with a proven track record of end-to-end product and business ownership. - Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of modern cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP), REST and GraphQL APIs, data analytics, AI/ML stacks, and banking security and compliance frameworks. - Business Acumen: Demonstrated ability to engage C-level stakeholders, champion technical sales, and translate tech into viable business models with a strong hands-on mentality. - Network: Established network within the banking and FinTech sector. - Language Skills: Business-fluent (C1) in both German and English.
