Technical Recruiting Associate (Nigeria)

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Technical Recruiting Associate to lead our hiring initiatives. Core Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end recruitment for technical roles, including sourcing, screening, and onboarding. - Build and manage a local recruitment team, including freelance recruiters and sourcing specialists as needed. - Collaborate with the sales and operations team to understand hiring needs and translate them into effective recruitment strategies. - Create and maintain candidate pipelines for Tech roles (e.g., Full stack, Frontend, Agentic ai, Cyber security, AI Engineers, etc.). - Oversee hiring compliance and advise on best practices in employment standards. - Implement and optimize ATS tools, assessments, and scorecards to ensure consistent candidate evaluation. - Maintain key hiring KPIs (time to fill, quality of hire, candidate satisfaction). - Represent the company at local job fairs or networking events, when relevant. Must-Haves - 3+ years of recruitment experience, preferably in high-volume or international settings. - Based in Nigeria with deep knowledge of the local labor market and talent pools. - Exceptional English, both written and verbal. - Familiarity with ATS platforms - Prior experience in remote or international recruiting. - Experience recruiting for U.S.-based clients. - Understanding of Nigerian labor laws and employment classifications. - Strong communication, organization, and time management skills. - A bias toward action and the ability to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. - Ability to work EST Originally posted on Himalayas
