Tech Lead .NET & Cloud

Requirements - Minimum of 7 years of software development experience, including at least 5 years of hands-on experience with .NET. - Proven experience in technical leadership, mentoring and guiding software developers. - Strong knowledge of .NET, .NET Framework, .NET Core and ASP.NET. - Experience designing and implementing microservices architectures and software design patterns. - Strong experience with cloud computing, particularly AWS and/or Azure. - Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerisation and orchestration. - Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Gitflow, configuration management, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and deployment strategies. - Solid understanding of API security best practices and data privacy. - Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Ability to conduct code reviews, define architectural solutions and ensure application quality, scalability and maintainability. - Strong problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. - Availability to work in a hybrid model, with 3 days per week onsite in Porto. Nice to Have - Experience with frontend technologies such as React.js or Angular. - Experience in iOS or Android development. - Previous experience in direct team management. Responsibilities - Act as the technical lead on complex .NET projects, ensuring high standards of delivery, quality and scalability. - Lead the technical execution of a development squad or cross-functional team. - Provide hands-on technical guidance, mentoring developers and helping them resolve technical challenges, architectural decisions and implementation issues. - Design and implement robust, scalable and cost-efficient end-to-end cloud solutions. - Define and promote software engineering best practices, design patterns and microservices architecture principles. - Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to align technical decisions with business requirements, priorities and delivery timelines. - Conduct code reviews and contribute to the design and implementation of critical features. - Ensure the quality, security and maintainability of software solutions. - Identify, document and manage technical debt, proposing continuous improvements to the codebase and development processes. - Prioritise and facilitate the timely resolution of client issues, ensuring compliance with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs). - Promote DevOps practices, process automation, CI/CD pipelines and efficient deployment strategies. - Ensure comprehensive technical documentation to support onboarding, knowledge transfer and ongoing maintenance. - Support the professional development of team members, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. - Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices, assessing their potential to improve existing solutions and engineering workflows.
