AP/AR Specialist | CPA

Location: Fully Remote Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent Working Hours: US Eastern Time | Night Shift Work Setup: Remote About the Role We are looking for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with hands-on experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, data encoding, credit collection, and reconciliation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with US-based clients and Eastern Time hours. Responsibilities - Process and encode Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions accurately. - Prepare and process invoices, payments, credit memos, and related accounting records. - Monitor outstanding balances and assist with credit and collection activities. - Perform bank, payment, AP/AR, and account reconciliations. - Maintain accurate customer and vendor records. - Prepare AR aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts. - Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and account variances. - Maintain proper supporting documentation for accounting transactions. - Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications - Certified Public Accountant (CPA). - Experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. - Experience with credit and collections. - Strong understanding of reconciliation processes. - High attention to detail and accuracy in data encoding. - Good written and verbal English communication skills. - Experience working with NetSuite is preferred. - Comfortable working US Eastern Time / night shift. - Reliable, organized, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
