We’re looking for a Compute Engineer to join our growing team in Gdańsk. This is a permanent opportunity offering a hybrid working pattern and a competitive salary, where you’ll play an important role in supporting the technology that powers our aviation software. What you'll be doing: - Design and build Windows and Linux environments across on-premise, cloud and hybrid infrastructure. - Take ownership of the full server lifecycle, from provisioning and upgrades through to decommissioning. - Work across SAN/NAS storage, backups and disaster recovery, helping ensure high availability and business continuity. - Identify performance issues and optimise server and storage environments. - Use automation and scripting to improve the way infrastructure is managed and operated. - Work with VMware and all-flash storage technologies. - Help maintain high standards across security, access and compliance. - Take ownership of complex infrastructure challenges, carrying out root cause analysis and delivering long-term solutions. - Help shape and maintain the technical documentation that supports the environment. What you will need: We're looking for an experienced infrastructure professional who enjoys solving complex technical problems and taking ownership. - 7+ years' experience in server administration and engineering within an Infrastructure & Operations environment. - Strong experience across Linux, Windows and VMware ESXi. - Experience working with SAN, NAS, block and cloud storage. - A strong understanding of security, performance and high availability. - Experience with AWS and/or Azure. - Strong scripting and automation skills using Shell, Python and/or PowerShell. - Experience across backup, recovery and disaster recovery. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. - Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes or Docker would be a bonus.
