Applied AI Engineer

We're looking for an Applied AI Engineer to help us build that future. We're not looking for someone who simply knows how to use AI tools. We're looking for someone who can build real solutions with them, integrate them into products, and turn them into reliable systems. Your Mission You'll play a key role in developing and implementing our AI technology strategy. You'll work directly with our development team and leadership across two main areas: 1. Artificial Intelligence Applied to Our Products - Develop and integrate new AI-powered features into our products. - Build intelligent agents capable of assisting with and automating engineering and manufacturing processes. - Integrate LLMs, APIs, tools, and AI services into our products. - Design experiences that allow users to solve complex problems using natural language. - Build prototypes, experiment with new architectures, and turn AI solutions into features our customers can actually use. - Work alongside our research and engineering teams to bring new technological capabilities into production. 2. Building Manfacter's Autonomous AI Agent Ecosystem We want our departments to work alongside teams of specialized AI agents. Your responsibility will be to progressively build the infrastructure that makes this possible: - Design multi-agent architectures capable of planning, delegating, executing, and verifying tasks. - Develop specialized AI agents for marketing, sales, operations, finance, engineering, and management. - Build systems where agents can communicate, share context, and collaborate autonomously. - Integrate agents with our business tools through APIs, MCP, and other technologies. - Automate repetitive processes end to end, delivering verifiable results and ready-to-use work packages for human execution or approval. - Develop mechanisms for memory, supervision, permissions, evaluation, and error recovery. - Measure the impact of these solutions on productivity, quality, execution time, and operational costs. What We're Looking For Essential Requirements - A recognized university degree or an Advanced Vocational Training qualification (Spanish FP Grado Superior). - Hands-on software development experience, particularly with Python. - Strong knowledge of large language models (LLMs), APIs, and AI-powered application development. - Experience building applications, agents, or automations that solve real-world problems. - Knowledge of backend development, software architecture, databases, and Git. - Ability to research technologies, make technical decisions, and independently build working solutions. Nice to Have - Experience with OpenAI Agents SDK, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar frameworks. - Knowledge of multi-agent systems, tool calling, and Model Context Protocol (MCP). - Experience developing software using AI-assisted coding tools. - Knowledge of RAG, memory systems, and vector databases. - Experience integrating AI into SaaS products or enterprise platforms. - Knowledge of Docker, cloud services, CI/CD, and MLOps. - Experience with model evaluation, observability, and autonomous systems. - Ability to manage technical projects and take developments from concept to production. You don't need to master every technology on this list. We're far more interested in your ability to understand a problem, design a solution, and build it.
