We are looking for a skilled Systems Engineer. Responsibilities: - Manage, maintain, and enhance enterprise server operating systems and core platform services. - Monitor OS health, performance, capacity, and security baseline metrics, taking proactive remediation actions. - Install, configure, patch, and harden server environments in line with corporate compliance and security policies. - Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis (RCA) for complex OS and infrastructure-related incidents. - Oversee backup, disaster recovery, patching schedules, and ensure complete, up-to-date technical documentation. - Provide hands-on technical expertise for server migrations, system upgrades, and strategic infrastructure projects. - Drive operational efficiency by automating repetitive tasks (scripting) and modernizing deployment pipelines. - Collaborate with key technology vendors and service providers on technical escalations and lifecycle management. Skills Required: - Solid, hands-on experience in enterprise Windows Server administration, OS hardening, patch management, and lifecycle support. - Certification / deep practical knowledge aligned with AZ-800 (Administering Windows Server Hybrid Core Infrastructure) and/or AZ-801 (Configuring Windows Server Hybrid Advanced Services). - Strong understanding of server virtualization, infrastructure dependencies, backup & recovery, and disaster recovery (DR) concepts. - Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell) to streamline recurring administrative workflows. - Awareness of emerging AI-driven tools and automation trends within infrastructure operations. - Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a clear focus on end-user experience and operational continuity. - Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills in an international, English-speaking environment.
