Description

We are looking for an engineer to build and maintain cloud infrastructure, automate software delivery, and support reliable application operations. You will work closely with development teams and own infrastructure changes from planning through deployment and ongoing support. Main Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure platform infrastructure. - Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process. - Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline workflows and improve productivity. - Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability. - Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. - Implement and manage container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or Docker Swarm. - Ensure security best practices are followed across all platform components. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve platform capabilities. Key Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 3+ years of hands-on experience in a similar type of responsibility. - Fluent in English - C1 (mandatory) - Fluent in French (nice to have) - Ownership and communication: Ability to work independently, communicate technical decisions clearly, and collaborate with development and other technical teams to resolve problems and deliver improvements. - Cloud — GCP or AWS: Practical experience designing, deploying, and operating infrastructure on either platform, including compute, networking, IAM, and storage. Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure issues and improve reliability, performance, and cost efficiency. - Git and CI/CD: Experience managing repositories and building pipelines using GitHub Actions or equivalent tools. Ability to automate builds, tests, security checks, and deployments, including rollback procedures. - Infrastructure as Code: Experience using Terraform to provision and maintain cloud environments, develop reusable modules, and manage infrastructure changes through version control and CI/CD. - Docker and Kubernetes: Experience building and maintaining Docker images and deploying applications to Kubernetes. Ability to troubleshoot workload, configuration, and networking issues. - Linux and scripting: Confidence administering Linux systems and using Bash or Python to automate operational tasks and diagnose system issues. - Monitoring and observability: Experience configuring metrics, logs, dashboards, and actionable alerts. Ability to investigate incidents, identify contributing causes, and implement improvements. - Security and KMS: Understanding of least-privilege access, secrets management, encryption, and key management services. Ability to apply secure configuration practices and manage credentials and encryption keys throughout their lifecycle. - Jira and Confluence: Familiarity with tracking technical work and maintaining clear documentation, including operational procedures and architectural decisions. - Agile collaboration: Experience working in Agile and/or DevOps teams, with familiarity with Scrum practices such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
