We are looking for a Digital Product Area Owner (DPAO) to lead Power Platform Accelerators team within Power Platform Foundations area. Power Platform is one of Volvo Group's strategic enterprise platforms, enabling rapid development of business solutions, automations, and AI-powered experiences. Our team plays a critical role in helping both Citizen Developers and IT teams succeed by providing enablement services, expert advisory, development guidance, and technical acceleration across the organization. As DPAO, you will lead a highly skilled team of developers and technical experts while driving the evolution of our Power Platform Center of Excellence capabilities. Your mission You will oversee the Power Platform development area, ensuring alignment with Volvo Group priorities while maximizing the value delivered through our enablement services, development expertise, and technical advisory offerings. You will be responsible for the team, its priorities, people development, and business value proposition. What You Will Do Lead and grow a high-performing technical team - Lead a team of experienced Power Platform developers and technical specialists. - Foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning. - Coach and develop team members while building future capabilities in AI & agentic. - Empower team with clear direction, trust, and ownership. Drive the Power Platform Center of Excellence - Continuously improve the enablement and advisory services offered to Citizen Developers and IT teams. - Build and maintain development frameworks, best practices, assets, and engineering standards. - Ensure Power Platform solutions follow enterprise architecture, security, governance, and compliance requirements. Accelerate technology adoption across Volvo Group - Provide strategic direction for architecture advisory, fusion development, and advanced technical support. - Support business areas and IT teams in designing scalable, enterprise-grade Power Platform solutions. Enable innovation and AI adoption - Lead exploration and introduction of new Power Platform capabilities, Copilot, AI Agents, and emerging technologies. - Drive PoCs to bring innovation into the platform landscape securely and responsibly. - Work closely with platform, architecture, security, and business stakeholders to scale innovation. Manage global stakeholders’ map - Manage dependencies and priorities across multiple stakeholders. - Secure transparency of priorities, capacity, and outcomes. Shape Power Platform Foundations strategy - Contribute to the creation of the vision, strategy, roadmap, and value delivery of the Power Platform area, ensuring alignment with business priorities and platforms strategy. Who are you? You are a technology leader who combines engineering credibility with strong people leadership. You understand how to create impact not only by building solutions yourself but by enabling entire communities and teams to succeed. You Need To Have: - Experience leading software development or platform engineering teams. - Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform and modern application development practices. - Knowledge of architecture, integration, APIs& cloud services. - A passion for coaching engineers and growing technical capabilities. - Experience working with stakeholders across business and IT, including leading workshops/trainings and presentations. - Strong communication, prioritization, and strategic planning skills. - A strong practical interest in AI, automation, and emerging digital technologies.
