AI Engineer

📍 Location: Lisbon (Hybrid) 🎓 Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. 🌐 English: Fluent (mandatory) Minimum Experience ✔ 3+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI Engineering ✔ Experience building and deploying AI solutions in production environments ✔ Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, AI Agents, or RAG solutions ✔ Experience working in cloud environments, preferably Azure Key Requirements - Strong programming skills in Python. - Experience with SQL and working with enterprise data sources. - Hands-on experience building AI-powered applications using Large Language Models (LLMs). - Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures. - Knowledge of AI Agents, orchestration frameworks, and tool-calling patterns. - Experience with Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, or similar AI platforms. - Experience integrating AI solutions with APIs and enterprise systems. - Understanding of prompt engineering, evaluation, monitoring, and optimization of LLM-based solutions. - Experience deploying and operating AI solutions in production environments. - Knowledge of software engineering best practices, testing, CI/CD, and version control. - Ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into AI solutions. - Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Nice to Have - Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or similar orchestration frameworks. - Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP). - Experience with vector databases and semantic search solutions. - Experience with Docker and containerized deployments. - Knowledge of MLOps and AI observability tools. - Experience with enterprise productivity ecosystems such as Microsoft 365. - Experience with Snowflake or modern data platforms. - Azure certifications related to AI or Cloud technologies.
