About The Opportunity We are looking for a DevOps Application Manager to join an international banking programme covering reference data products for third-party individuals and entities. These applications connect to external public and market data providers and serve as authoritative data sources for the organisation. The programme aims to ensure high data quality and consistency across systems while reducing reporting discrepancies. The role combines hands-on Java development, back-end architecture and CI/CD practices, with opportunities to contribute across technical business analysis, development and technical leadership. Main Responsibilities - Design secure, scalable back-end architectures. - Develop and enhance application components using Java and the Spring framework. - Standardise build, testing and deployment processes according to CI/CD best practices. - Implement APIs and other solutions for exposing data. - Participate in validation activities with end users. - Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and support change. - Apply sound engineering practices, including microservices, unit testing and version control. Required Skills And Experience - University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. - Strong proficiency in Java and deep knowledge of the Spring framework. - Advanced SQL skills, particularly with PostgreSQL. - Strong knowledge of CI/CD, microservices, unit testing and version control. - Experience with cloud environments such as AWS or IBM Cloud. - Experience with Docker containerisation. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence and ALM. - Interest in combining Technical Business Analyst, Developer and Tech Lead responsibilities. - English proficiency at C1 level. - Basic knowledge of French. Nice to Have - Experience with third-party data. - Knowledge of data governance and data management. - Previous familiarity with the client’s IT environment.
