HIE Interface Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an HIE Interface Engineer based in the United States . The HIE Interface Engineer will support the implementation and operation of a statewide Health Information Exchange (HIE) and the development of a Health Data Utility (HDU). In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain healthcare interfaces and FHIR APIs that enable secure, reliable clinical data exchange across healthcare organizations. You will work with healthcare integration technologies and standards to connect electronic health records, laboratories, public health agencies, payers, and patient access systems. Your expertise will help ensure accurate data mapping, interoperability, secure API access, and dependable production operations. You will collaborate with technical and security teams to test, deploy, troubleshoot, and optimize integration solutions. This is a full-time remote opportunity open to candidates residing within the continental United States and is contingent upon contract award.
