Shopify Technical Lead

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Shopify Technical Lead based in United States. This is a senior technical leadership role focused on defining, building, and scaling high-performing Shopify experiences for leading brands. You will combine hands-on Shopify engineering expertise with team leadership and strategic eCommerce consulting. The role spans themes, custom applications, APIs, integrations, technical architecture, performance, security, and delivery standards. You will also act as a trusted advisor to clients, connecting technical decisions to business outcomes such as conversion, revenue, retention, and customer experience. Beyond technical delivery, you will contribute to eCommerce roadmaps, strategic workshops, product ownership, and pre-sales activities. The position offers the opportunity to shape technical practices, mentor developers, and help drive the adoption of AI-enabled development workflows.
