AutoCAD Designer (AC - 03192025- PTACD)

Position: AutoCAD Designer Number of hours: 20 hours/week Schedule: EST/PST Tasks required: - Produce high-quality AutoCAD drawings for hotels, restaurants, and other commercial interior layouts. - Interpret sketches, architectural plans, and notes to develop accurate construction documents. - Revise and update drawings based on feedback from clients, engineers, and project managers. - Ensure compliance with applicable building codes and regulations in designs. - Maintain consistent drawing standards, layers, and templates across projects. - Collaborate with remote teams and attend virtual meetings during US office hours. - Assist in space planning, furniture layouts, lighting plans, and finish details as needed. - Organize and manage drawing files, version control, and documentation. - Other ad hoc tasks that would be assigned Requirements: - Proven experience in AutoCAD design, particularly in hospitality and restaurant projects. - Experience with additional design software (Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite) is a plus. - Background in architecture, interior design, or a related field. - Familiarity with US building codes and ADA guidelines is a bonus. - Solid understanding of architectural and interior design drafting standards. - Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely. - Excellent portfolio of previous works - Creative talent, imagination, and eye for design - Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially regarding communicating an artistic vision - Ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines - Exhibit strong work ethic and initiative - Clear and concise communicator with effective verbal and written communication skills - Self-disciplined and organized; able to consistently hit daily and monthly targets with limited supervision Originally posted on Himalayas
