Senior Platform Engineer – Kubernetes - Storage Infrastructure

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build and scale our high-performance storage infrastructure. 📍 Role Overview - Location: 100% Remote (European Timezone) - Start Date: ASAP - Capacity: 100% (Full-Time) - Duration: Long-term contract - Working Language: English 🛠️ What You’ll Do - Architect & Code: Design and implement custom Kubernetes operators in Go to manage distributed storage systems (Ceph/Rook) at enterprise scale. - End-to-End Ownership: Take full lifecycle responsibility for storage infrastructure—covering automated deployment, upgrades, scaling, capacity planning and proactive incident response. 🧰 What We’re Looking For - Kubernetes: Deep hands-on expertise beyond standard operations. You know how to build custom CRDs, controllers, operators and admission webhooks from the ground up. - Production-Grade Go Development: Advanced proficiency with controller-runtime and client-go. Solid command of reconciliation loops, finalizers and complex status conditions. - Storage Infrastructure Expertise: Proven track record operating and troubleshooting enterprise storage solutions such as Ceph, Rook, NetApp, or Pure Storage.
