Division
You will be joining the Enterprise Architecture (EA) division at Euroclear, a leading post-trade financial market infrastructure.
The EA division is an experienced and multi-disciplinary group of architects responsible for:
- Defining the enterprise architecture directions & standards, aligned to the company strategies & goals;
- Defining the investment themes to develop or transform the IT capabilities supporting the business units’ strategies;
- Maintaining a multi-year strategic investment plan & technology roadmap and advising on IT investment decisions;
- Steering the definition & realisation of capabilities and solutions to support business objectives (process, applications, data and technology) in alignment with the enterprise architecture directions.
Enterprise Architect for IT Processes
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect with a focus on IT process architecture and transformation to join our Corporate Functions EA team. As Lead Architect for the IT process landscape, you will define and steer its target architecture and evolution. You will connect IT and Information Security processes, controls, roles, information, governance and enabling technologies into a coherent enterprise model.
Working with the IT Practice Office, Process Owners, IT Leadership, Risk, Security and delivery teams, you will help create a more productive and well-controlled IT organisation by simplifying processes, improving process and control effectiveness, reducing manual coordination and enabling greater use of workflow, data, automation and AI.
Your Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the target architecture and transition roadmap for the enterprise IT and Information Security process landscape
- Own the enterprise process architecture model, connecting processes, controls, roles, information and enabling technologies. Drive simplification, standardisation, automation and AI enablement of IT processes.
- Define architectural principles, standards and target-state designs for process governance and technology enablement.
- Guide process transformation initiatives and provide architectural direction to stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Act as the architecture authority for IT processes, managing dependencies, influencing decisions and ensuring alignment with Enterprise Architecture standards.
Qualifications And Experience
- Significant experience in Enterprise Architecture, IT process architecture, IT governance, operating-model design or technology-enabled transformation.
- Strong experience modelling enterprise processes and connecting them to controls, ownership, information and enabling technology. Demonstrated capability in current-state assessment, target-state architecture, dependency and gap analysis, and roadmap development.
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders across IT, business, risk, security, compliance and transformation functions.
- University degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Management, or a related field is an advantage.
- Good working knowledge of governance and control frameworks such as COBIT; experience in a regulated industry is an advantage.
