Assistant Vice President, Investment Accounting

Our partner is looking for an Assistant Vice President, Investment Accounting based in the United States. The Assistant Vice President, Investment Accounting will lead day-to-day investment accounting operations and oversee financial reporting for a complex, multi-asset insurance and reinsurance investment portfolio. This leadership role is responsible for delivering accurate month-end and quarter-end closes across multiple accounting frameworks, including U.S. GAAP, U.S. statutory, and Bermuda statutory reporting. You will analyze investment performance, income, yields, realized gains and losses, and portfolio balances to provide meaningful insights to senior leadership. The role also plays a critical part in strengthening internal controls, supporting audits, and maintaining compliance with applicable accounting standards. Working closely with investment managers, finance, actuarial, compliance, and capital teams, you will help integrate new portfolios and improve reporting processes.
