Description

(Team) Lead Site Reliability Engineer | Utrecht | €105k + 10% Bonus | Datadog-driven Observability 24/7 Logistics Platform | In-house Role | 50% WFH | Azure, Datadog, K8s Do you want to design and build a world-class observability and reliability practice on a cloud-native hybrid cloud platform? Do you get energy from taking the technical leadership of their SRE team that is responsible for keeping a mission-critical, international logistics platform running at 99.99% availability? My client is at an interesting phase now, as they are going through a big digital transformation towards a more agile/DevOps culture. For this they are actively hiring in the SRE team. In your tribe you will work alongside with other SRE’s, 3 in total, 1 PO and an Engineering Manager. The platform supports 35 internal DevOps teams. Impact is one of the words to highlight here. As a Lead Site Reliability Engineer you will get the chance to build and own the full observability stack, powered by Datadog, across on-premise, edge and Azure (AKS) environments. You'll define SLOs, SLIs and error budgets, and drive a culture of reliability across the organisation. Minutes of downtime disrupt the global supply chain, and that means unhappy stakeholders. Responsibilities you will have: - Technical Enablement – have a vision on Site Reliability Engineering and influence people - Defining and owning SLOs, SLIs, error budgets and incident management processes - Mentoring, hiring and setting up best practices - Designing and maintaining cloud infrastructure/architecture with reliability at its core - Building and scaling the Datadog observability stack across all environments - Onboarding new teams and understanding their reliability and monitoring needs What you'll bring: - 7+ years of working experience in Software, DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering - 3+ years working with cloud, IaC and cloud engineering - 2+ years working with Kubernetes - 2+ years hands-on experience with Datadog (dashboards, monitors, APM, log management) - Technical leadership: 1+ year - Dutch (B2 minimum) and English proficiency Benefits: A base compensation of up to €105k + 10% bonus + 25%+ pension scheme + 3 days WFH per week.
