Description

Identity and access sits underneath everything our customers do with DataSnipper. It determines how organisations are set up, how their people sign in, who can see and do what, and how that is evidenced to the security teams and auditors who check. It needs to be secure by default and reliable enough that nobody has to think about it. Our customers are audit firms and finance teams working with confidential financial data, from regional practices to the largest global networks. Getting identity and access right is a large part of why they trust us, and a large part of how we win and grow enterprise customers. You will own product strategy and direction for identity and access across our platform. Your users are customer administrators and IT and security teams, and the product teams across DataSnipper that build on what you provide. You will work with a dedicated engineering team in Amsterdam. ABOUT DATASNIPPER Audit and finance are still massively manual and we are changing that. DataSnipper is a $1B, bootstrapped unicorn with 600,000+ users across 180+ countries, already embedded in the daily workflows of top audit and accounting firms. Now, we are taking things further with our Excel Agent, bringing AI directly into where the work actually happens. Unlike generic AI tools, we do not sit on the sidelines. Our AI operates inside Excel, with access to real documents and audit evidence, meaning it does not just generate answers, it does the work, with full traceability. We are not just applying AI, we are redefining how audit gets done. If you want to build something category-defining at scale, this is the place.   WHAT YOU'LL OWN - Own how customers sign in, how their users are provisioned and managed, and how access is granted, reviewed and removed - Shape an access model that product teams across the company build on, so access behaves consistently everywhere in the product and is hard to misuse - Give large organizations the controls they need to manage access at scale: who can use what, how users are grouped, and how provisioning works with their own identity provider - Make administration simple enough that customer IT and security teams can manage their organisation without needing us, working closely with other product teams on the admin experience - Work out how access should work as automation and AI take on more of the work: what they are allowed to do, on whose behalf, and how it is recorded - Make least privilege the easy option rather than the tedious one, balancing security against usability, and the needs of smaller customers against the largest enterprises - Run a platform roadmap that other teams plan against: gather what product and engineering teams across the company need, agree ownership and sequencing with them, and make dependencies visible early - Act as the product voice in enterprise security reviews, and translate security, privacy and compliance requirements into product decisions - Lead across functions without formal authority, bringing engineering, design, security, customer success and sales into one plan, with explicit trade-offs and measurable results   WHAT YOU'LL BRING Must-have: - 5+ of product management in B2B SaaS, including platform or infrastructure products that other teams build on - Experience with identity and access in enterprise products: single sign-on (SAML, OIDC), user provisioning (SCIM), and role-based or fine-grained permissions across organisations with complex structures. Strong technical depth and real interest in the space can substitute for direct experience - Enough technical depth to work as a peer with engineers on authentication and authorization design, and to write specifications engineers review for feasibility - Experience with enterprise customers: security reviews, IT administrators and procurement requirements - Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks such as GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001 and FedRAMP, and how they shape identity and access requirements - Experience running a platform roadmap with several dependent teams as its customers, and aligning product, engineering, design and go-to-market around it without formal authority - Clear written communication, and the ability to explain trade-offs to engineers, customers and leadership - Hands-on use of AI tools to accelerate learning, productivity, and team collaboration Strong-to-have: - Experience with identity platforms such as Auth0, Okta or WorkOS - Products for regulated industries such as audit, financial services, legal or healthcare - A background in software engineering - Experience defining access for AI or automated systems WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE - Customers set up their organisation and manage their users without needing our support - Product teams build on a shared access model and plan against a roadmap they trust, instead of building their own - Enterprise security reviews move quickly and rarely raise identity concerns - Access for automated and AI-driven work is clear, controlled and auditable - Sign-in and access are reliable enough that customers and internal teams rarely have to think about them   WHAT WE OFFER - Be part of one of the fastest-growing, profitable unicorn scale-ups in the Netherlands with a global impact. - Equity (Stock Appreciation Rights) to share in the company’s success and growth. - Pension plan with a 6% contribution on top of your base salary. - 28 vacation days per year (full-time) to support your work-life balance. - Hybrid work model with at least 3 days onsite in our dynamic Amsterdam office. - Daily, freshly prepared lunches by our in-house chef to keep you energised. - NS business card for easy commuting to the office. - A structured onboarding programme designed to set you up for success, including dedicated time to learn our product and customers before you hit the ground running. - Access to continuous learning and development initiatives to grow your skills. - Engage with a vibrant international team spread across seven global offices. - Company-wide events like DataSnipper GO, where global teams come together. - Access to OpenUp, a mental health and wellness platform supporting your wellbeing.   RECRUITMENT STEPS - Recruiter screen - Hiring Manager interview - Product discussion with members of product and engineering team - Practical exercise, scoped to under two hours - Final conversations with the people you would work alongside
