About The Role We are seeking a passionate and experienced Cloud Software Engineer with a strong focus on Kubernetes and modern cloud technologies to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing high-availability cloud services, automating lifecycle management through Kubernetes operators, and creating robust REST APIs to enable seamless service orchestration for our clients. Your expertise in programming with Golang, combined with your experience in cloud environments and DevOps tools such as Git, Docker, and ArgoCD, will be crucial in driving our cloud initiatives forward. You will work in an agile environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Qualifications - Proven experience in software development with a focus on cloud-native applications and Kubernetes. - Strong programming skills in Golang, with a solid understanding of best practices and design patterns. - Hands-on experience with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. - Familiarity with DevOps tools including Git, ArgoCD, and related CI/CD pipelines. - Experience applying the 12 Factor App principles to develop scalable and maintainable cloud services. - Knowledge of REST API development and service lifecycle management. - Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions. - Experience working in agile teams, with a proactive and collaborative mindset. - Excellent communication skills and willingness to share knowledge with team members. Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain highly available cloud services that meet business needs and technical standards. - Create and manage REST APIs to facilitate service lifecycle management and client interactions. - Develop Kubernetes operators to automate the deployment, scaling, and management of cloud services. - Automate and optimize technical processes continuously to improve efficiency and reliability. - Implement automated unit and integration tests to ensure software quality and robustness. - Take ownership of features and services within an agile product team, following the "You Build It – You Run It" philosophy. - Conduct detailed root cause analyses for issues and implement lasting solutions to prevent recurrence. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align development efforts with organizational goals and standards. - Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and incorporate best practices into development processes.
