Senior / Lead Platform Engineer (Cloud & DevOps) – German Speaking

As a Senior or Lead Platform Engineer, you will participate in the design and evolution of cloud-native platforms, implement automation initiatives, improve operational excellence, and contribute to platform standardization. Lead-level candidates will additionally influence cloud strategy, technical direction, and engineering best practices across multiple teams. The environment emphasizes Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes-based platforms, modern CI/CD practices, observability, security, and continuous improvement. Scope of Services - Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and platform services with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure. - Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform. - Build, optimize, and support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation processes. - Manage containerized workloads running on Kubernetes platforms. - Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions. - Improve platform reliability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency. - Collaborate closely with software engineers, architects, and business stakeholders. - Investigate and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and production issues. - Participate in architecture discussions and technology evaluations. - Drive DevOps and Platform Engineering best practices across engineering teams. - Support knowledge-sharing initiatives and mentor less experienced engineers.
