Data Engineer

Data Engineer | SC Cleared / SC Eligible Hybrid working in Manchester or London £60,000 - £70,000 + benefits We're recruiting for a Data Engineer to join an established consultancy delivering transformation programmes across the public and private sectors. You'll work within Agile teams, designing and building modern data solutions using cloud technologies, helping organisations turn data into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities - Build and maintain data pipelines, models and data products. - Work with SQL, Python and modern data engineering tools. - Develop solutions on AWS and/or Azure platforms. - Support analytics, reporting and data visualisation initiatives. - Apply best practices across testing, CI/CD, security and governance. - Collaborate with stakeholders to solve real business challenges. What We're Looking For - Commercial experience in Data Engineering. - Strong SQL and Python skills. - Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, Databricks, Fabric, Redshift etc.). - Knowledge of data modelling, ETL/ELT and data warehousing. - Familiarity with tools such as Spark, PySpark, Pandas, Power BI or Tableau. - Understanding of Git, testing and CI/CD practices. - Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
