Manual testing is treated as temporary, replaced by automation, tooling, and AI-assisted workflows. 📋 Responsibilities include: - Own test strategy from unit and integration coverage through end-to-end and regression suites. - Build automated UI, API, and data-layer suites that stay fast, deterministic, and trusted. - Use LLM tooling to author tests, generate edge cases, triage failures, and summarize regressions. - Set CI/CD quality gates so broken builds do not reach a client environment. - Automate checklists, environment setup, test data, smoke checks, and reporting. - File clear defects, add security checks for auth, input handling, and secrets, and advise on release readiness. 🔑 Requirements / Must-have: - 3 to 5 years in QA, SDET, or test automation, shifted from manual work to automated coverage. - Strong TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python, with tests other engineers will maintain. - Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, pytest, or equivalent, plus REST or GraphQL contract and negative-path testing. - CI/CD ownership in GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar, and daily verified use of AI coding assistants. - Git, containers, reading application code, strong async writing, high autonomy, and willingness to learn blockchain and cybersecurity. 🛠 Nice-to-have / Preferred: - Web3 testing: wallets, testnets, RPC, Foundry, or Hardhat. - LLM evaluation harnesses, OWASP or Burp Suite, and k6, Locust, or JMeter. - Observability for coverage gaps, open-source testing work, and Blockchain / DeFi knowledge. 🌍 Location & notes: - Miami, FL.
