Director of Finance, Care in Action

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director of Finance, Care in Action based in the United States. The Director of Finance will lead financial management and oversight across a nonprofit advocacy organization and its affiliated entities. Reporting to the VP of Finance, this role will oversee budgeting, financial reporting, treasury management, audits, grants compliance, and financial governance. The successful candidate will help ensure accurate financial operations across a 501(c)(4), a political action committee (PAC), and related organizations. Working closely with senior leadership, the board, development, accounting, and legal and compliance teams, the Director will support informed decision-making and long-term financial sustainability. This position also serves as Board Treasurer and primary contact for external auditors. The ideal candidate brings strong nonprofit finance expertise, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
