The role defines trust, identity, security, and cryptographic foundations for an autonomous space computing platform built for the quantum era. 📋 Responsibilities include: - Design the security architecture for a distributed satellite mesh - Define PKI, identity, and trust models for intermittently connected systems - Lead the post-quantum cryptography (PQC) strategy - Define hardware root-of-trust, secure provisioning, and key management architecture - Integrate with third-party software stacks that rely on the hardware - Design security architecture for a containerized, cloud-based ground segment - Ensure crypto agility and long-term resilience - Define and enforce trust boundaries in the design 🔑 Requirements / Must-have: - Strong experience in security architecture and distributed systems - Deep knowledge of PKI, key management, secure protocols, and authentication systems - Strong understanding of modern cryptography and post-quantum cryptography standards - Experience in cloud, edge, telecom, or IoT environments 🛠 Nice-to-have / Preferred: - Satellite, aerospace, Delay-Tolerant Networking (DTN), or mission-critical systems experience - Experience with HSMs, secure elements, or hardware roots of trust - Experience with 5G / NTN / D2D security 💡 Perks & Benefits: - Challenging environment where ideas are heard - Supportive network from classic and new space, motivated to change the industry 🌍 Location & Time Zone: - Hybrid - Bengaluru, India - A security clearance may be required for certain positions 📩 To apply: Apply via the official form: https://careers.reorbit.space/jobs/8472229-satellite-security-architect.
