Information Technology Technical Lead

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY Join a technology delivery context in the financial market infrastructure sector, contributing to secure, scalable and reliable digital solutions for organizations operating in capital markets. This role combines hands-on .NET engineering, technical leadership, cloud architecture and delivery ownership within a hybrid setup in Porto. WHAT YOU WILL DO - Lead the technical delivery of complex .NET initiatives, ensuring quality, scalability, maintainability and alignment with business priorities. - Guide a software engineering squad or cross-functional team, supporting developers with architecture decisions, implementation challenges and technical blockers. - Design robust cloud-based solutions that balance performance, security, cost efficiency and long-term evolution. - Work closely with product stakeholders to translate requirements into feasible technical plans and delivery priorities. - Support the early resolution of client-impacting issues, contributing to service reliability and adherence to agreed service levels. - Review code, contribute to critical solution design decisions and promote engineering quality across team deliverables. - Identify, document and prioritize technical debt, ensuring continuous optimization is considered in planning. - Maintain clear technical documentation to support knowledge transfer, onboarding, software development continuity and team communication. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR - At least seven years of hands-on software development experience, including strong experience with .NET technologies. - Proven experience acting as a technical leader, mentor or reference point within a software engineering team. - Ability to lead technical discussions with engineering, product and non-technical stakeholders. - Strong ownership of delivery quality, engineering practices and solution sustainability. - Solid problem-solving capability, with a proactive and structured approach to complex technical challenges. - Professional working proficiency in English and the ability to communicate clearly in an international environment. - Collaborative, responsible and solution-oriented mindset, aligned with Agile delivery practices.
