Description
INFRASTRUCTURE & DEVOPS ENGINEER
Dublin | Hybrid (3 days/week in-office) | Development Team
Cpl Recruitment are partnering with a confidential client to find an Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer for their new Irish Centre of Excellence in Dublin.
About the Role
You'll join a development team building out a proprietary AI platform, supporting digital forensics and incident response (DFIR) tooling, data wrangling, and analysis. It's a collaborative, fast-moving setup — the client is scaling quickly, and team members work across feature areas rather than staying siloed. This role sits at the centre of software delivery, cloud infrastructure, and platform reliability, with room to get hands-on with feature development when it's useful.
Key Duties
- Own and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, release controls, and developer enablement for fast, reliable delivery.
- Build, operate, and secure cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code and configuration management.
- Manage runtime environments, containers, secrets, identity and access, networking, observability, logging, and alerting.
- Drive reliability, scalability, cost awareness, backup, disaster recovery, and operational readiness.
- Partner with software, data, AI/ML, and DFIR teams, contributing directly to platform features or automation where needed.
Tech Stack
Python, Go (Golang), SQL, Bash
Essential Requirements
- ~2 years' hands-on experience across cloud platforms, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, containerisation, and secure operations.
- Strong troubleshooting and automation ability across application, data, networking, and infrastructure layers.
- Working understanding of secure software supply chains, environment management, production change controls, and incident response.
- Enough software-engineering breadth to support feature development and internal tooling when called on.
- Bonus: familiarity with Databricks.
- Must have Irish/EU Citizenship and be based within a commutable distance to Dublin.
Role Emphasis
A hands-on DevOps and infrastructure role with meaningful software-engineering participation — not a pure ops seat.
Who This Suits
Someone early in their DevOps/infra career who's past the fundamentals and ready to own delivery pipelines and cloud environments end-to-end — not a complete junior, and not someone looking for an architect/lead-level remit.
On offer - €40-55K + bonus and bens
