Cloud Engagement Lead - AWS Practice

We're looking for a Cloud Engagement Lead to join our AWS practice in Dublin, Ireland in a hybrid working mode. This is a client-facing role that combines in-depth AWS solution expertise, engagement ownership and business growth. You will lead cloud engagements from shaping through to delivery, act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, and ensure solutions are well-architected, secure and aligned to business outcomes. You will play a key role in expanding EPAM’s AWS presence in Ireland, leading pre-sales activities and integrating AI and GenAI capabilities into client solutions. This is an ideal role for someone with a strong AWS background who has progressed into client leadership and growth, combining technical credibility with commercial awareness. Sector exposure may include energy, financial services and other enterprise verticals. Responsibilities - Lead AWS engagements end to end, from discovery and solution design through to delivery and handover - Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, translating business challenges into AWS-based solutions - Conduct pre-sales activities including opportunity shaping, estimation and proposal development - Grow existing client relationships and identify new opportunities across the Irish market - Bring AI and GenAI solutions on AWS to clients, including Bedrock, SageMaker and RAG patterns - Ensure engagements follow established architecture and engineering best practices - Guide engineers across engagements, supporting both technical and professional development - Contribute to reusable assets, case studies and knowledge sharing initiatives within the AWS practice - Ensure all solutions meet required security, compliance and quality standards Requirements - 7+ years of technology experience, including significant hands-on work with AWS - Proven background leading client-facing cloud engagements through all delivery stages - Comprehensive understanding of AWS architecture, services and enterprise adoption patterns - Familiarity with AI and GenAI services on AWS and their application to client solutions - Demonstrated pre-sales experience including solution shaping, effort estimation and proposals - Strong capability in client growth, account management or business development - Experience coaching and mentoring engineers in a collaborative environment - Understanding of delivery commercials such as scope, effort and budget management - AWS certification at Associate level (Solutions Architect or Developer); Professional or Specialty preferred - Excellent communication skills with confidence engaging senior stakeholders and technical teams Nice to have - Experience in consulting, professional services or systems integration environments - Multi-cloud exposure (Azure, GCP) - Sector experience in financial services, life sciences, retail, public sector or energy - SAP knowledge or implementation experience - Established network within the Irish technology market We offer - EPAM Group income protection scheme - EPAM Group life assurance - Group health scheme - Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) - Corporate Programs, including Employee Referral Program with rewards - Learning and development opportunities including in-house training and coaching, professional certifications, and courses
