IT, Systems & AI Manager

GWIC is looking for an experienced and hands-on IT, Systems & AI Manager to take ownership of the Group’s IT environment and lead the implementation of AI and automation across our international operations. The role combines IT Management, Systems, Cloud, Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence. Main Responsibilities - Take overall ownership of GWIC’s IT environment; - Manage and coordinate external IT providers; - Oversee servers, cloud infrastructure, networks, backups and business continuity; - Administer and optimise Microsoft 365, Entra ID, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook and Teams; - Manage cybersecurity, access controls, devices and user permissions; - Manage IT assets, software licences and technology costs; - Support IT onboarding/offboarding and user support; - Review and improve GWIC’s IT architecture and governance; - Lead the implementation of the GWIC AI Workstation; - Develop AI and automation workflows using ChatGPT/OpenAI, Power Automate, APIs and Microsoft tools; - Support automation of document management, recruitment, CV processing, project correspondence, tenders and internal reporting. Candidate Profile We are looking for someone with: - Relevant experience managing corporate IT environments; - Strong Microsoft 365 and cloud experience; - Good knowledge of cybersecurity, networks, servers and backups; - Experience managing external IT providers; - Experience with Power Automate and business process automation; - Strong practical interest or experience in AI / ChatGPT / OpenAI; - Ability to work independently and take ownership; - Fluent English. Portuguese is highly valued. Experience with Azure, Intune, Defender, Microsoft Graph, Power Apps, Python, APIs, ERP systems or AI agents will be considered an advantage. Previous experience in engineering, consulting, infrastructure or other professional-services organisations will also be valued.
