BUSINESS UNIT LEAD | DUBLIN, IRELAND 🇮🇪 €130,000 – €140,000 + Benefits Ireland & Europe | COMMS Projects Are you an experienced Business Unit Lead, Operations Manager, Project Director or Senior Project Manager with a strong background in COMMS / communications projects? We are currently recruiting for a Business Unit Lead to join a leading European engineering and construction organisation, overseeing multiple COMMS projects across Ireland and Europe. The Role: This is a senior leadership position with responsibility for the overall operational performance of multiple projects. You will lead and support project management teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, to the required quality standards and within agreed commercial targets. You will also work closely with clients, subcontractors and senior management to drive performance, resolve issues and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and oversee multiple COMMS projects across Ireland and Europe - Provide leadership and support to Project Managers and site teams - Monitor programme, project performance, budgets and costs - Ensure strong Safety, Quality and Environmental (QEHS) performance - Manage client and subcontractor relationships - Oversee project planning, procurement and engineering delivery - Review project audits, KPIs and weekly reporting - Support contract and commercial management, including change and disputes - Ensure procedures and project controls are consistently implemented - Support tendering and future project pipeline activities - Identify skills gaps and support recruitment and training - Drive continuous improvement across the Business Unit - Travel across Ireland and multiple EU countries as required What We're Looking For: - 5–10+ years' experience managing multiple COMMS projects at a similar level - Engineering, Construction or Commercial third-level qualification - Proven experience managing multiple projects across different regions - Strong leadership and people-management capability - Experience with contracts and commercial management on large-scale projects - Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills - Strong understanding of industry regulations and construction processes - Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver against challenging programmes - Willingness and ability to travel across Europe This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced senior construction professional to take ownership of a multi-project Business Unit, working across major COMMS projects throughout Ireland and Europe.
