The role drives response from detection to resolution and supports five 9s reliability. 📋 Responsibilities include: - Act as an on-call Incident Commander across Engineering, Product, Policy, Risk, PR, Legal, and executives - Lead user-facing incidents across reliability, technical, security, and data privacy - Determine impact, provide situation reports, run comms bridges, and ensure timely external communications - Update stakeholders and influence decisions with Engineering, Sales, Support, and other teams - Contribute to root cause analysis, post-mortems, remediations, and problem-management SLAs - Improve incident handling, metrics, and tooling from incident trends 🔑 Requirements / Must-have: - 5+ years of major incident experience in mission-critical or always-on SaaS environments - Ability to lead multiple concurrent incidents and drive to root cause - Intermediate understanding of application development, architectures, and cloud deployments - Understanding of physical, virtual, and container-based infrastructure - Quantitative skills with SQL, Splunk, or similar tools - Strong task management and composure under pressure - Exceptional written and verbal English for technical and non-technical stakeholders 🛠 Nice-to-have / Preferred: - Domain expertise in technical, privacy, security, or crisis incidents - Experience with status pages, posts, emails, or support communications - Familiarity with distributed architectures and full stack development 💡 Perks & Benefits: - Salary range for the primary location: €88,800 - €133,200.
