External Audit & Technical Accounting - Thought Leadership: - Acts as a trusted advisor to CFOs / Controllers on complex technical accounting and financial reporting matters - Deep SME in IFRS with a track record of advising clients on first-time adoption, new standards and complex transactions - Extensive experience in PCAOB audits and leading audit readiness / remediation for US-listed and IPO-bound clients - Brings Big 4 pedigree with ability to shape audit methodology and quality B. Internal Audit, Risk & Controls - Client Delivery Excellence: - Proven track record of leading large-scale global SOX and ICFR transformation and optimization programs - Ability to lead diagnostic of finance control environment, including process mapping, key reports assurance and controls rationalization to deliver risk and efficiency benefits - Experience in designing and implementing finance risk and enterprise risk frameworks at Board / Audit Committee level - Ability to connect risk, controls and assurance to deliver commercial outcomes for clients C. Finance Transformation - Growth & Value Creation: - Demonstrated experience in originating and delivering enterprise-wide Zero Based Budgeting and cost transformation programs - Ability to advise on FP&A transformation, Finance TOM and operating model redesign to improve effectiveness and efficiency of finance function - Experience in finance technology-led transformation and ability to lead cross-functional teams (Finance, Risk, Technology) - Brings a business development mindset - ability to build pipeline, develop C-suite relationships and create market-leading propositions Originally posted on Himalayas
