Description

Requirements - 2–3+ years of professional experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) system administration within enterprise environments. - Solid experience in the administration, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting and hardening of Red Hat Linux servers. - Good hands-on knowledge of Ansible, particularly for infrastructure automation, configuration management and administrative tasks. - Experience with Linux clustering is a strong advantage. - Experience with VMware and virtualized environments. - Knowledge of Storage Servers and SAN Switches. - Good understanding of infrastructure services and networking concepts, including system connectivity and network flows. - Knowledge of security, hardening and compliance practices in Linux environments. - Experience working with automation platforms and ensuring infrastructure changes are consistently and properly managed through automation. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in enterprise infrastructure environments. - Good organizational, prioritization and time-management skills. - Ability to understand technical and business requirements and translate them into infrastructure solutions. - Fluent English, both written and spoken. - Willingness to work in a hybrid model in Porto, Portugal. Responsibilities - Administer, configure, maintain, upgrade and troubleshoot Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers in standalone and clustered environments. - Ensure the availability, performance, stability and security of Linux infrastructure. - Implement and maintain Ansible automation to ensure consistent and controlled infrastructure management. - Automate server configuration, maintenance and operational changes across Linux environments. - Administer and troubleshoot Linux clustering environments. - Administer and support VMware environments. - Administer and troubleshoot Storage Servers and SAN Switches. - Implement and maintain security, hardening and compliance policies across Linux environments. - Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to server performance, availability, connectivity and configuration. - Collaborate with Network, Security, Storage, VMware and other infrastructure teams to implement technical and business requirements. - Analyse and implement network connectivity requirements and communication flows between systems. - Ensure all additions, removals and changes to Linux infrastructure are properly managed through the defined automation platforms and processes. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of Linux administration, automation and infrastructure management processes.
