Description

About Citco JOB DESCRIPTION Citco is a global leader in fund services, corporate governance and related asset services with staff across 50 office locations worldwide. With more than $1.8 trillion in assets under administration, we deliver end-to-end solutions and exceptional service to meet our clients’ needs. For more information about Citco, please visit www.citco.com About The Team & Business Line Fund Administration is Citco’s core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industry’s most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience. Strategic Operations is a dedicated function within Private Assets, created to take the development and delivery burden off Operations and to close the gap between project design and operational adoption — by making both the responsibility of the same people. The team owns transformation delivery, project execution, business analysis, operational initiatives and implementation support, rather than relying on already stretched BAU teams and SMEs. The team is organised into three delivery pods across two remits. EVP 1 — Operating Model & Product covers Pod A (Operating Model, Product & Client Solutions). EVP 2 — Technology, Data & Delivery covers Pod B (Data, Reporting & Platform Enablement) and Pod C (Digital Workflow, Automation & AI). Business analysis and implementation capability is embedded in every pod rather than centralised, with EVP 2 owning the standards for requirements, testing, cutover and benefits tracking. This role leads EVP — Technology, Data & Delivery, with accountability for Pod B (Data, Reporting & Platform Enablement) and Pod C (Digital Workflow, Automation & AI). The group works in close partnership with Operations, the Transformation Office, IT, Tactical Operations and our Marquee Client teams. Roles are offered on both a permanent basis and as approximately 12-month rotational assignments, and are anchored in our strategic locations. Rotational colleagues join from the business, shape the change, and return to the line owning the delivery with broader project experience behind them. Responsibilities Your Role You will own how we build it, prove it, and land it in the business — with accountability for delivery standards across the whole of Strategic Operations. - Lead Pods B and C, setting priorities across the data, platform, automation and AI agenda for Private Assets. - Own the business analysis and implementation discipline for all three pods — requirements, testing standards, cutover and benefits tracking — so that quality is consistent wherever delivery sits. - Set out Operations’ requirements with IT and the Transformation Office, and hold the relationship through build, test and deployment rather than handing over. - Sponsor automation and AI opportunities, from identification through to deployment and measured benefit. - Own the data, reporting and platform roadmap from an Operations perspective, including data quality, lineage and reporting capability. - Govern delivery: release planning, UAT, defect management, deployment readiness and post-implementation review. - Partner with Operations to ensure change is understood, trained out and genuinely adopted. - Build and develop the pods — including the rotational model — and actively participate in recruitment. - Maintain alignment with Tactical Operations and Marquee Operations, picking up solutions originating in either for wider reuse. - Represent Strategic Operations at Private Assets and CFS technology and delivery forums. Qualifications About You You have 12–15 years’ experience in fund administration, alternative asset management or a related financial services environment, with substantial exposure to technology-enabled change. - A demonstrable record of delivering large-scale technology, data or platform initiatives in a financial services setting, with change that was genuinely adopted. - Strong understanding of private assets processes and the platform estate that supports them. - Credibility with technology partners — able to translate operational need into technical requirement and to challenge a solution design. - Practical knowledge of automation, digital workflow and AI, and sound judgement on what is worth automating. - Delivery governance experience including testing strategy, cutover planning and benefits realisation. - Strong leadership skills and supervisory experience of other professionals, including rotational colleagues joining from the business. - Skilled in business planning, budgeting and stakeholder negotiation. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint). - Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field; professional accounting designation a plus. What We Expect of the Strategic Operations Team Regardless of level or pod, everyone in Strategic Operations is expected to demonstrate the following: - Deep technical and operational knowledge — genuine depth in how our processes, data and platforms actually work — the detail that only comes from having run the work. - Curiosity — the instinct to ask why a process looks the way it does, to challenge the answer, and to keep asking whether there is a better way. - A transformational mindset — comfortable redesigning end to end rather than patching, and prepared to see change through past go-live to the point where it is genuinely adopted. - Ownership through to adoption — accountability does not end at delivery; success is measured by whether the change sticks in the business. - Commercial and client awareness — an understanding of what we can genuinely run, so that what we commit to a client is deliverable. - Global mindset — working across regions, jurisdictions and time zones, and designing solutions that scale beyond a single desk, client or location. - Ambition to shape Citco’s future — an appetite to help build the operating model we will run for years, and to be measured on whether it works. Our Benefits Your well-being is of paramount importance to us, and central to our success. We provide a range of benefits, training and education support, and flexible working arrangements to help you achieve success in your career while balancing personal needs. Ask us about specific benefits in your location. We embrace diversity, prioritizing the hiring of people from diverse backgrounds. Our inclusive culture is a source of pride and strength, fostering innovation and mutual respect. Citco welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities. Accommodations are available upon request for candidates taking part in all aspects of the selection process.
