Senior AI Platform Engineer

Role Purpose We are building an AI-native procurement platform and are looking for a Senior AI Platform Engineer to help bring AI solutions into production. You will build and maintain the systems that enable machine learning models, AI agents, and intelligent applications to be deployed, monitored, and improved at scale. Working closely with Machine Learning, Platform, Product, and Data Engineering teams, you will help ensure our AI capabilities are reliable, secure, and scalable. Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain platforms that support production AI systems. - Develop automated pipelines for model deployment, testing, versioning, and lifecycle management. - Build frameworks to measure model performance, quality, cost, and business impact. - Implement monitoring and observability across AI services and applications. - Partner with Machine Learning Engineers to deploy and operate AI models in production. - Collaborate with Platform Engineering to improve infrastructure, scalability, security, and reliability. - Support deployment strategies such as A/B testing, canary releases, and progressive rollouts. - Establish governance and controls for version management, auditability, and compliance. - Automate operational processes to improve efficiency and deployment confidence. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of AI engineering and delivery practices. Requirements - Experience operating machine learning or AI platforms in production environments. - Software engineering skills with experience building automation, deployment pipelines, and operational tooling. - Knowledge of cloud-native infrastructure, container platforms, and distributed systems. - Understanding of CI/CD, infrastructure as code, release automation, and production operations. - Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and observability solutions. - Knowledge of model deployment, lifecycle management, experimentation, and performance evaluation. - Experience working with Platform Engineering, Machine Learning, Product Engineering, and Data Engineering teams. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on reliability and continuous improvement. - Ability to simplify operational complexity through automation and reusable platform solutions.
