SAP S/4HANA Transformation Architect 📍 Netherlands (Hybrid) 💰 Up to €140,000 gross annual salary plus bonus and additional benefits Lead Enterprise-Wide SAP Transformation Architecture We're partnering with a global technology consultancy that is continuing to expand its SAP practice across Europe and is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Transformation Architect to lead complex transformation initiatives for large enterprise customers. This is a senior architecture role for a seasoned SAP professional who combines technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong stakeholder engagement capabilities. You'll be responsible for defining transformation roadmaps, owning solution architecture, and guiding organisations through some of their most business-critical SAP programmes. The Opportunity As an SAP S/4HANA Transformation Architect, you will take ownership of solution architecture across large-scale SAP programmes, ensuring technology strategies align with business objectives while providing a clear path towards future-state SAP landscapes. You'll work closely with business leaders, IT executives, programme teams and senior architects to design scalable, future-proof solutions that deliver measurable business value. Key Responsibilities Solution Architecture & Transformation Leadership - Lead architecture design and governance across enterprise SAP transformation programmes. - Define target-state SAP architectures aligned with business strategy and long-term technology goals. - Drive solution design across Greenfield, Brownfield and Hybrid S/4HANA implementations. - Establish architecture principles, standards and governance frameworks. - Ensure alignment between SAP roadmaps, business objectives and enterprise architecture strategies. - Provide technical oversight throughout the full programme lifecycle, from strategy through delivery. Executive Advisory & Stakeholder Management - Partner with business and IT stakeholders to define transformation visions and implementation roadmaps. - Conduct maturity assessments, discovery workshops and strategic planning sessions. - Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership teams on SAP transformation strategy. - Support risk management, programme governance and delivery assurance activities. - Facilitate decision-making across complex business and technology landscapes. Technical & People Leadership - Mentor SAP consultants, architects and programme teams. - Establish and promote architectural best practices across projects. - Drive quality assurance and architectural governance throughout programme delivery. - Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, reusable frameworks and reference architectures. - Champion innovation and technical excellence across the SAP practice. What We're Looking For - Proven experience architecting and delivering large-scale SAP transformation programmes. - Strong SAP S/4HANA expertise across enterprise environments. - Experience delivering multiple end-to-end SAP implementation projects. - Exposure to Greenfield, Brownfield and/or Hybrid transformation programmes - Strong understanding of both business and technology aspects of SAP transformation. - Experience leading architecture streams and managing senior stakeholders.
