Description
Combine advanced semiconductor R&D, program leadership and strategic customer engagement
What you will do
As a Technical Account Manager (TAM), you will operate at the intersection of advanced semiconductor research, program execution, and strategic customer engagement. As part of technical team, you will serve as a key interface between imec's world-leading R&D teams and our strategic industry partners, ensuring that technical programs create maximum value for both imec and its customers.
You will coordinate and follow up on complex R&D collaborations spanning multiple programs and technical domains. Working closely with Program Directors, Program Managers, Research Fellows, and customer technical champions, you will help align technical priorities, drive execution excellence, and translate customer needs into future opportunities.
Your responsibilities

- Act as the voice of the customer within imec, ensuring customer priorities and expectations are clearly understood and appropriately represented.
- Coordinate complex R&D engagements across multiple imec programs and technical domains.
- Monitor deliverables, milestones, resources, risks and dependencies, ensuring projects remain aligned with customer expectations.
- Facilitate communication between customers and imec technical teams, translating technical requirements into actionable plans.
- Support the preparation of executive customer reviews, strategic discussions and high-level technical engagements.
- Identify growth opportunities and future collaborations by combining customer insight with knowledge of imec's technology roadmap.
- Escalate risks and issues proactively and drive resolutions together with program and management teams.
