Technical Lead

About the role We are hiring a Developer / Tech Lead to drive the automation agenda of the network security team of a leading European technology group, through Shakers. Despite the title, this is primarily a software development role. What you will do - Lead the team's development and automation initiatives from a technical standpoint. - Build advanced integrations against the APIs of network and security appliances, such as NSX and Fortinet. - Develop automation solutions and internal portals on a Python and Django stack. - Define structured testing methodologies and set development guidelines and best practices. - Push the operational baseline progressively towards automation. What you need - 7 to 8 years of experience or more. - Strong software development background with solid command of Python. Experience with the Django framework is essential. - Excellent ability to handle and integrate complex APIs. - Solid networking and security fundamentals, enough to translate business requirements into code. - A mindset focused on code quality, automated testing and continuous improvement. - Professional English. Nice to have - Previous experience automating solutions such as VMware NSX, firewalls or proxies. - French. Practical details Full time, long term. Hybrid, 2 to 3 days per week on site, Porto or Lisbon.
