DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS
The selected candidate will perform the following typical tasks and responsibilities:
- Cloud Administration & Monitoring: Administering and monitoring enterprise Cloud environments (including subscriptions, identities, resource management, automation of processes and tasks).
- Resource Management: Monitoring and reporting on resource utilization and consumption related to the Cloud.
- Documentation & Reporting: Preparing, updating, and maintaining reports, workflows, policies, guidelines, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- DevOps & Provisioning: Provisioning and de-provisioning development environments and DevOps projects.
- Support & Coordination: Providing 2nd line support to client’s application development teams regarding Cloud Services and coordinating with 3rd line support.
- Collaboration: Participating in coordination and project meetings and performing other specific duties as assigned by supervisor.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
The candidate should possess the following knowledge and skills:
- Cloud Expertise: Technical knowledge of enterprise Cloud technology services in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud (Identity, Networking, Compute, Storage, Web, Mobile, Containers, Databases, Analytics, AI & Machine Learning), and experience in building compute, storage, and network cloud services.
- Scripting & Automation: Excellent scripting skills and programming experience in PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, Go, Bash, Windows command prompt, and object-oriented programming languages.
- System Administration: Demonstrable experience in Linux administration and scripting (preferably Red Hat), and basic knowledge in administering Microsoft systems.
- DevOps & Security: Deep knowledge of DevOps principles, Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) concepts and techniques, and knowledge of Cloud security and compliance (including auditing and monitoring tools).
- ITSM & Collaboration: Experience with ticketing systems and ITIL-based change, configuration, and release management processes, as well as experience collaborating with multiple support groups.
- Soft Skills: Good organizational and prioritizing skills, proactive attitude, teamwork spirit, self-motivation with strong user orientation, good communication skills, and the ability to cope with fast-changing technologies.
SPECIFIC EXPERTISE (Mandatory)
- Landing Zones & CAF: Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, or operating Azure Enterprise-Scale Landing Zones based on the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES
At least one (1) certification from the following list (or an internationally recognized equivalent accepted by the Contracting Authority) is mandatory:
- Mid-level AWS / Azure / Google Cloud certification (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate AZ-104 or Azure Solutions Architect Expert AZ-305).
