💼 Hiring: Anti-Fraud Engineer (Spain) - Crossmint 📍 Hybrid - Madrid, or fully remote from Spain | 🕐 Posted September 30, 2026 | 💰 95,000-125,000 EUR base + stock options | 🧑‍💻 Full-time | 🔗 TypeScript / Fraud / Risk Crossmint is hiring its first dedicated Anti-Fraud Engineer to build shared decisioning for remittances, payroll, on/offramps, card rails, and agent-initiated payments, reporting to the Engineering Manager for Identity, Compliance & Risk. 📋 Responsibilities include: - Own scoring and decisioning for onboarding, transfers, on/offramps, and cards: rules, models, thresholds, versioning, backtesting, and rollback. - Build device, behavior, velocity, counterparty, and graph signals. Own catch rate, false-positive rate, and fraud loss. - Detect account takeover, mules, first-party fraud, synthetic identities, promo abuse, and agent payment abuse. - Lead incidents and on-call. Build analyst case tools. Decide build versus buy, produce audit evidence, and flag fraud risk before launch. 🔑 Requirements / Must-have: - 5+ years in production systems, 3+ in fraud, risk, or trust and safety at payments, cards, banking, lending, marketplaces, or a crypto exchange. - Hands-on rules engine or model-serving path and its data pipeline. TypeScript is ideal. - Fluency in catch rate, false-positive rate, precision, and loss rate. SQL and independent analysis. - Balance loss and friction. Deep familiarity with AI and agentic tools. CS degree or equivalent. 🛠 Nice-to-have / Preferred: - Stablecoins, wallets, onchain tracing, address risk, card chargebacks, 3DS, SCA, KYC/KYB abuse, or MiCA, DORA, SOC 2. 💡 Perks & Benefits: - Stock options on every offer.
