Description

Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Director of Digital Strategy within the Office of Registrar and Deputy President. Following a strategic review of executive capacity in digital development, University College Dublin (UCD) has established a leadership role positioned within the portfolio of the Registrar. Operating at the intersection of digital innovation, technology architecture, and institutional vision, the Director of Digital Strategy provides dedicated leadership capacity and expertise to design, drive, and embed a comprehensive, multi-year digital roadmap across the University to meet the ambitions set out in the UCD Breaking Boundaries Strategy. This role works in close strategic partnership with the Chief Information Officer, the UCD Strategy Office and executive leadership. The Director of Digital Strategy will be a visionary and influential leader, who shapes university-wide digital direction, aligns cross-departmental priorities, and prepares academic and administrative units for digital transformation. This strategic mandate works in direct support of the CIO's remit by securing institutional consensus through collaboration, clarifying business demand, driving and fostering digital adoption and adaptation, whilst creating the environment needed to support our digital roadmap. Salary Scale: 95 Snr Administrative I\2013 (2010) (7952) : €147,198 - €186,094 per annum Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines Closing date: 12:00 noon (local Irish time) on 22 October 2026.
