Site Reliability Engineer

Data & Analytics Site Reliability Engineer Location: Lisbon, Portugal (hybrid, 50% on-site) Employment: Full-time We are seeking a hands-on Site Reliability Engineer to improve the reliability and operations of cloud-based data processing and analytics services. The role focuses on Azure infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, observability, and resolving complex Level 2 and Level 3 incidents. Responsibilities • Build and maintain Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code. • Improve deployment pipelines, operational automation, monitoring, and service reliability. • Support and troubleshoot data and analytics platforms in production. • Investigate complex incidents and contribute to root-cause analysis and preventive actions. • Monitor cloud services, identify risks, and improve performance, availability, and security. • Collaborate with data engineering, platform, and application teams. Required Skills • Hands-on experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Cloud Engineer. • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and Terraform. • Practical experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines. • Experience with Azure data services such as Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, Event Hubs, or Storage Accounts. • Experience with Datadog or Azure Monitor. • Scripting with Python or Bash, and experience with Linux and Windows environments. • Knowledge of cloud security and production operations. • Full-time availability and ability to work 50% on-site in Lisbon.
