Director of IT

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director of IT based in the United States. We are seeking a hands-on Director of IT to build and lead IT operations across a multi-company portfolio and its parent holding company. This is a foundational leadership opportunity to establish scalable systems, strengthen security, and streamline technology operations across multiple businesses. You will oversee IT integration throughout the acquisition lifecycle, from initial technology assessments and due diligence to post-acquisition implementation and optimization. Working closely with senior IT and security advisors and managed service providers, you will develop standardized processes while respecting each company's existing infrastructure and operational needs. You will drive identity and access management, vendor oversight, technology consolidation, and cross-company systems integration. This remote leadership role is ideal for an experienced IT professional who enjoys building processes from the ground up and delivering practical solutions in a dynamic, acquisition-driven environment.
