Technical Architect & Security Lead (Oracle Fusion Cloud)

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion Cloud Technical Architect & Security Lead to join our Oracle team and provide technical and security leadership across both Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation projects and Application Management Services (AMS). The role will be responsible for defining and governing the overall technical architecture of Oracle Fusion Cloud solutions, including integrations, extensions, data, reporting, identity and access management, application security and technical operations. The successful candidate will work closely with functional leads, integration consultants, enterprise architects, security teams and client stakeholders to ensure that Oracle Fusion solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable and aligned with Oracle Cloud best practices and enterprise architecture standards. Your future duties and responsibilities Technical Architecture & Implementation - Define and govern the end-to-end technical architecture for Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations, rollouts and transformation programs. - Define technical standards and architecture principles for integrations, extensions, data migration, reporting and security. - Provide technical leadership across Oracle Fusion domains such as ERP Financials, Procurement, SCM, Maintenance, HCM and EPM, as applicable. - Define integration architecture and patterns using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, events and file-based interfaces. - Define the appropriate approach for Oracle Fusion extensions, ensuring alignment with Oracle Cloud extensibility principles and minimizing unnecessary customization. - Define technical approaches for data migration, data interfaces, reporting and analytics. - Review and approve technical designs, integration specifications and solution architectures. - Identify technical dependencies, constraints and risks and define appropriate mitigation strategies. - Ensure appropriate architecture for performance, scalability, availability, monitoring and operational support. - Support technical planning for environments, testing, cutover, go-live and hypercare. - Act as the main technical point of contact for Oracle Fusion architecture topics. Security & Identity Management - Lead the design and governance of Oracle Fusion Cloud application security. - Define and maintain the overall security model, including users, roles, privileges and data access. - Design and review Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) models. - Define Job Roles, Duty Roles, Data Roles and appropriate access structures. - Support the design and implementation of Segregation of Duties (SoD) controls. - Define security principles for integrations, APIs and technical/service accounts. - Work with enterprise security teams on Identity and Access Management (IAM), Single Sign-On (SSO), authentication and user provisioning. - Support security assessments, audits, compliance reviews and remediation activities. - Ensure that security solutions follow the principles of least privilege and appropriate access governance. - Provide guidance on security implications of new functionality, integrations and application changes. Application Management Services (AMS) - Provide L3 technical and security leadership for Oracle Fusion Cloud environments. - Support the resolution of complex technical, integration, performance and security incidents. - Perform or coordinate root cause analysis for major or recurring technical issues. - Review and approve significant technical changes and enhancements. - Support Problem, Change and Release Management activities. - Assess the technical and security impact of Oracle Cloud updates and new capabilities. - Coordinate regression and security impact assessments for relevant Oracle releases. - Identify opportunities to improve application architecture, security, automation, monitoring and operational efficiency. - Define and maintain technical standards, architecture documentation and operational procedures. - Provide technical guidance, coaching and knowledge transfer to delivery and support teams. Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role - 8+ years of experience in Oracle enterprise applications, cloud architecture, integration and/or security roles. - Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications. - Proven experience as a Technical Architect, Solution Architect, Technical Lead or Security Lead in Oracle Fusion Cloud programs. - Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation, rollout and/or AMS environments. - Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion technical architecture and extensibility concepts. - Strong knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Oracle Fusion integration patterns. - Good understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, web services, file-based integrations and data migration mechanisms. - Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Security and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). - Experience designing and managing Job Roles, Duty Roles, Data Roles, privileges and data access. - Experience with Segregation of Duties (SoD), access controls and security governance. - Knowledge of Identity and Access Management, SSO, authentication and user provisioning concepts. - Good understanding of integration security, certificates, credentials and service accounts. - Experience defining technical standards, architecture principles and governance processes. - Ability to review complex technical solutions and provide architecture guidance across multiple delivery teams. - Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving capabilities. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to interact with client architects, security teams and senior stakeholders. - Ability to lead and coordinate technical teams in international and distributed delivery environments. - Fluent English, both written and spoken. Nice to Have - Oracle Fusion Cloud and/or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) certification(s). - Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) certification. - Experience across multiple Oracle Fusion domains, including ERP, SCM, Procurement, Maintenance, HCM and EPM. - Experience with Oracle Cloud IAM / Identity services and enterprise identity providers. - Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks and audit requirements. - Experience with Oracle Risk Management / Advanced Access Controls or equivalent SoD and access governance solutions. - Experience with multi-country and large-scale Oracle Fusion implementations. - Experience in both implementation projects and AMS/managed services environments. - Experience with DevOps, CI/CD and technical lifecycle management for Oracle Cloud solutions. - Knowledge of ITIL practices and experience working in SLA/KPI-driven support environments.
