OVERVIEW:
The DevOps Engineer maintains the production system (including external suppliers) and is responsible for production environment which is running continuously on a 24 x 7 basis. Maintain the production system up to date and secure. The focus of this role is to maintain the daily operation of the Azure systems and Linux. Ensure that each system is properly monitored. The DevOps Engineer might also need to attend client meetings from time to time.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Co-responsible for the support of our Azure systems Atria and Linux environment (Ubuntu)
Planning and conception of extensions
Maintaining, expanding and supporting our VMware / storage and Microsoft Azure environment
Updating and keeping the installation and operating documentation up to date
Collaboration and co-responsibility in projects
Maintaining documentation
Rotating on-call duty 24/7 (remote intervention only)
Role Requirements:
Completed computer science education
Very good knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu)
Very good knowledge in Microsoft AKS, Airflow
Very good knowledge of scripting Bash/Perl/Python- Open, motivated and team-oriented personality
Good knowledge of VMware (HA Cluster, vCenter)
Very good knowledge of English, knowledge of French and/or German would be a plus.
Main objectives:
Ensure all systems are running smoothly and reliably with regular updates and maintenance.
Participation in the on-call duty (remote intervention only)
Participation in the sprint and team meetings
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all systems and processes.
Work closely with team members to support and enhance the production environment, participating in projects and team goals.
