Vertical PM - Retail

We are looking for a Vertical Product Manager to own Wonderful's solutions for retail: apparel and beauty, grocery and big box, home and DIY, marketplaces, and consumer services. This role is responsible for the strategy, roadmap and go-to-market of repeatable retail solutions: products that solve a specific business problem for a retailer and that we can sell and deploy again and again, in every country we work in. Our teams in the field already build valuable agents for retailers. As one of the first Vertical PMs, you will turn this field experience into a catalog of solutions that sales can pitch from the first meeting, and that our deployment teams can take to production faster each time. You will work closely with country GMs, Deployment Strategists, FDEs, HQ product groups, R&D and marketing. Retail is the vertical where an agent is judged on revenue and not only on cost. The same agent that tracks an order can also help a shopper find the right product, bring back an abandoned basket, or answer the store phone calls that nobody picks up today and turn them into visits. Our solutions have to prove both sides of that, in the brand's own voice. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Drive the product vision, strategy and roadmap for Wonderful's retail solutions, from the first solutions to a full catalog. - Identify the highest-value repeatable solutions, using what we have already built for retail customers, input from the field and market research. - Convert repeated customer needs into productized solutions rather than one-off builds, in partnership with HQ product groups and R&D. - Own the full solution offering for go-to-market, including demos, pricing, business case and reference deployments, so that solutions win deals in pre-sale. - Partner with marketing and sales on positioning, sales enablement and conversations with senior retail buyers. - Build a deep understanding of retail and e-commerce operations, buyer needs, seasonality and competitors, and use it to shape priorities. - Build solutions that move revenue as well as cost, and make the revenue case provable: define how each solution is attributed and measured so that a retailer's commercial team will accept the number. - Own the market rollout for each solution: which countries it enters and in what order, what has to change for it to work in each one, and how we grow penetration from there. A solution is judged by its total across every market, not by a single deal. - Lead a cross-functional team of engineers and designers from discovery to production, while maintaining team health. - Define and track the metrics that show each solution is working, and communicate progress to leadership. - Operate independently, think strategically and communicate clearly with executive and technical audiences. WHO YOU ARE - 5+ years of product management, solutions or strategy experience in B2B or enterprise software. - Experience building products for retailers, marketplaces or consumer brands, or working inside one. - Experience taking a product from customer discovery to repeatable sales. - Experience working closely with engineering, sales and customer-facing teams. - Experience presenting to and influencing senior executives. - AI-native PM with demonstrated ability to use AI tools to build prototypes and demos, and to redesign workflows. ADVANTAGES - Experience with AI agents, LLM-based products or workflow automation. - Experience in a pre-sales, solutions or forward-deployed role. - Knowledge of core retail processes and systems, such as order management, returns and exchanges, product catalog and search, loyalty, or store operations. - Experience with revenue-side programs such as product discovery, recommendations, basket recovery or win-back campaigns. - Experience working across several countries or markets, or in a fast-growing startup.
