Description
We are seeking an experienced DDI Engineer to lead the architecture, engineering, implementation, and operational management of enterprise DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (IPAM) services.
This role is responsible for ensuring the availability, security, scalability, resilience, and automation of critical network infrastructure services that support business applications, cloud platforms, data centers, and enterprise networking environments.
The successful candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for DDI technologies, partnering closely with network, security, cloud, and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable and resilient core network services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage enterprise DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) platforms.
- Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and resiliency of critical network services.
- Develop and maintain IP address management strategies, standards, and governance processes.
- Support cloud, hybrid, and on-premises infrastructure environments.
- Automate DDI provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and operational processes.
- Integrate DDI services with network security and infrastructure platforms.
- Troubleshoot complex DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, and network-related issues across enterprise environments.
- Drive service modernization, operational efficiency, automation, and platform optimization.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity and network teams to ensure secure and compliant DDI operations.
- Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise for enterprise DDI services.
- Support incident management, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- Deep expertise in DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (DDI).
- Strong understanding of enterprise networking principles, protocols, and architectures.
- Hands-on experience with DDI platforms such as Infoblox, BlueCat, or similar solutions.
- Strong network architecture and infrastructure engineering knowledge.
- Experience with cloud networking across Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud.
- Automation and scripting experience.
- Knowledge of DNS security, governance, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of IP address planning, allocation, utilization, and lifecycle management.
- Experience with incident management and operational support.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing enterprise DDI environments.
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including:
- Routing and switching
- TCP/IP
- DNS
- DHCP
- IP addressing
- Experience supporting large-scale, complex enterprise environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively across network, security, cloud, and infrastructure teams.
