Senior DevOps Engineer | Azure & Kubernetes | Lisbon | Hybrid

We’re looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a cloud-native platform project in Lisbon (Carnaxide), working in a hybrid model. You’ll be working in an international environment, helping ensure platform reliability, production stability and efficient deployments, with a strong focus on Azure, Kubernetes, automation and CI/CD. Location: Carnaxide, Lisbon Work model: Hybrid, 50% weekly on-site presence What you’ll be working on: - Maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and GitLab - Implementing GitOps practices using ArgoCD or FluxCD and Helm - Managing Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including AKS, storage and networking - Defining and maintaining Infrastructure as Code with Terraform - Managing containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes - Improving platform scalability, resilience and production reliability - Implementing monitoring, alerting and logging solutions - Managing secrets with HashiCorp Vault - Working with artifact repositories such as Artifactory and NuGet - Supporting incident resolution and production stability - Supporting performance, load and stress testing - Collaborating with backend and mobile development teams - Contributing to automation and continuous improvement across the platform What we’re looking for: - 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud or SRE roles - Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and AKS - Solid knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker - Strong experience with Terraform - Experience with CI/CD and GitOps practices - Knowledge of GitHub Actions and/or GitLab - Experience with ArgoCD or FluxCD and Helm - Knowledge of observability, monitoring and incident management - Experience with HashiCorp Vault - Familiarity with artifact management solutions such as Artifactory or NuGet - Understanding of distributed systems, APIs and backend architectures - Professional experience working in Agile environments - Fluent/professional English, written and spoken Interested?
