AI Engineer

🚀 We're looking for an AI Engineer (Lisbon) We are looking for an AI Engineer to join an international banking environment, contributing to the design and development of AI-powered solutions. The role focuses on taking AI initiatives from concept to production, working closely with technical and business teams to build scalable, secure and useful applications. ✅ Professional Experience & Main Tasks - Design, develop and integrate AI and Generative AI solutions into business applications. - Build and maintain LLM-powered applications, including chatbots and AI assistants. - Develop RAG pipelines to connect language models with enterprise data. - Work with frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph to orchestrate AI workflows. - Build backend services and APIs, primarily using Python. - Prepare, process and connect data sources for AI applications. - Evaluate model performance and improve the quality, reliability and relevance of AI-generated results. - Deploy, monitor and maintain AI solutions in production environments. - Collaborate with business stakeholders, data teams, software engineers and architects to translate requirements into technical solutions. - Follow good practices for security, data privacy, testing and responsible AI. ✅ Skills & Experience - Professional experience as an AI Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer or Generative AI Engineer. - Strong programming experience in Python. - Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs and prompt engineering. - Experience building RAG solutions and integrating LLMs with APIs and business systems. - Familiarity with frameworks such as LangChain and/or LangGraph. - Knowledge of machine learning concepts, model evaluation and data preparation. - Experience deploying applications or AI solutions to production. - Knowledge of cloud platforms, containers and CI/CD is a plus. - Experience in the banking or financial sector is valued. - Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in an international environment. 🌍 Language Requirement English (C1) 💼 Work Setup Hybrid – Lisbon (2 days per week onsite at Parque das Nações)
