David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a fast-growing AI technology company serving millions of users worldwide that is seeking to onboard a Content Moderator to join their expanding Trust & Safety team. The role involves daily review of sexually explicit content and adult themes, so candidates must be fully comfortable working with this material. Position: Content Moderator (Adult / NSFW) Location: Remote, Philippines Employment type: B2B engagement DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Review and approve or reject user-generated content, including images, videos and text, in line with platform policies - Identify inappropriate, prohibited or potentially harmful material - Apply moderation guidelines consistently, including when handling ambiguous or borderline content - Document moderation decisions accurately and escalate complex cases - Investigate content flagged by automated detection systems - Review internal AI-generated content, AI characters, datasets and workflows for safety and compliance - Categorise and tag content to maintain appropriate platform visibility - Maintain high accuracy, consistency and productivity across substantial moderation volumes - Collaborate with senior moderators and the Legal & Safety team to improve workflows and enforcement standards REQUIREMENTS: - Previous hands-on experience moderating user-generated content for an online platform - Strong understanding of content moderation guidelines, policy enforcement and escalation procedures - Experience working with high-volume moderation queues - Excellent English comprehension, including slang, context, nuance and intent - Proven ability to make sound, independent decisions on complex or borderline content - Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy and consistency - Clear documentation and communication skills - Complete comfort with daily exposure to explicit adult content - Availability to support required international moderation coverage BENEFITS: - Fully remote working environment - Opportunity to join a rapidly expanding international AI business - Hands-on responsibility and direct impact on platform safety - Collaboration with experienced Legal, Compliance and Trust & Safety professionals - Professional development in AI technology and digital content safety - And many more!!!
